Finger, hand and arm prostheses are made up of different components. These are individually tailored to your needs and requirements.
Each prosthesis initially has an individual shaft that accommodates the stump. The shaft plays the central role as it acts as a direct link between the user and the prosthesis technology. Because it is worn directly on the skin, the shaft also significantly influences the wearing comfort of a prosthesis. For these reasons, we are devoting a great deal of attention to shaft design.
With an inner shaft made of HTV silicone, we want to make it as comfortable as possible for you to wear your prosthesis. Thanks to the silicone, the shaft is flexible, skin-friendly and comfortable. The material is easy to clean and has very good adhesion properties.
And of course we adapt the prosthesis shaft optimally to your individual stump conditions. Depending on the field of application, your level of activity and many other aspects, we will work with you to select the optimal shaft concept.
Depending on your requirements and amputation location, various industrially manufactured fitting parts are attached to the shaft.
